“Leigh’s cabin is just as described and if you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is it! This dreamy home is tucked away in the woods at the end of a rural road. The screened porch was our favorite spot where we spent the majority of our time relaxing as we watched summer storms roll in and hawks flying by. The peaceful creek is accessible at the end of a long staircase and a short walk through the magical woods. Leigh’s eye for design is impressive and she doesn’t skimp on comfort with plush mattresses, and RH linens. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, and the nice soaps/shampoos that were available for guest use. She is an excellent communicator and responsive to any questions we had.”

“This cabin is truly a gem in the woods – it’s a perfect and surprising combination of a rustic, peaceful setting with a super-stylish, incredibly well-appointed, and totally comfortable cabin! Our family of five (three generations) enjoyed each of the living spaces; however, our favorite spot was the large screened-in porch on the ground level. Sitting on those Adirondack chairs with our tea/coffee in the morning, and our wine in the afternoon, looking out at that secluded, gorgeous view – simple perfection! Having the large gas grill inside the porch made our evenings dining al fresco at the large picnic table even easier. Leigh was the perfect host – attentive, generous, and so helpful. Her artful taste and love of the “cabin life” is evident in all the fabulous décor and amenities, which really elevate this top-notch (yet completely comfortable) experience! Many thanks!”

“This cabin is a beautifully renovated space with high quality furnishings and amenities. We rented this for our family of seven and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and find a little quiet nook to hunker down, away from the crowd, to read one of their many books. We enjoyed discovering book shelves built into otherwise forgotten spaces and the vast array of topics one could explore. The kitchen dining area was great because we could all gather for meals and games with ease. We loved the ambience of that space. The beds are super comfy and there is plenty of hot water to go around for showers. We definitely recommend this charming upscale cabin.”

“I hosted a ladies getaway at the cabin at Berkeley Springs and had an awesome time. The cabin is beautifully appointed with careful touches throughout. The kitchen is stocked for a gourmet meal!! The beds were all comfortable and cozy – best sleep we’ve all had in a long time! Leigh is an attentive host and any questions were answered quickly. Love this little jewel of a cabin.”

“WOW! What can I say about this amazing cabin? The location is fantastic, especially if you are looking to get away from it all and city life. The area is definitely woodsy with lots of incredible wildlife, amazing views of the rolling mountains and a wonderful chill West Virginia vibe. We enjoyed the screened in porch both by day and in the evenings, and the firepit at night was perfect for relaxing and roasting a few marshmallows at the end of the day. The cabin is so cozy and yet has all of the modern amenities at the same time too. The bed, bedding and pillows were all very comfortable, the kitchen has all of the cooking equipment (and coffee making options!) that you’d need and plenty of dining space both indoors in the dining room space or on the screened in porch. Plus the WiFi is great so it’s a perfect getaway even if you have to work a bit, or just catch up on emails, etc. Leigh was an incredible host and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond every step of the way. The walk down the stairs to the creek is a fun little extra adventure and definitely worth the effort.”
