Property Details
You’ll love the 2 ft thick fieldstone walls, 1700’s architecture, cozy fireplace, bubble glass windows, and 2 staircases. 2,700 square feet. No expense was spared on the high end furnishings in this home. As art and antique lovers, you will find original paintings and other works of art throughout the home. The kitchen is incredibly charming with wood beam ceilings and stone walls but still has all the efficiencies a modern chef will need.
The property sits adjacent to farms in a rural setting. The historic river town of Columbia, PA boasts some of the oldest architectural styles in America, gives direct access to trails, waterways, and river life, holds the secrets to the early days of our Nation’s birth – from civil war bridge burnings to the birthplace of the false-bottom railcars used in the Underground Railroad.
In spring and summer the grounds are especially gorgeous with mature walnut, cherry, oak, and locust trees. Deer, turkeys, hummingbirds, owls and many more species frequent the property. Beautiful perennial flower beds overflow with lilies, daisies, dahlia, peonies, ferns, butterfly bush, hydrangea, and coral bells.
